In preparation for the formal filing of proposed amendments to the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008 (Republic Act No. 9520) during the upcoming 20th Congress, we are inviting all members of the Coop Chamber, as well as interested parties, cooperative leaders, sector representatives, and partner stakeholders, to participate in a Sectoral Consultation to be held on June 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
This consultation will serve as an important venue to:

Present and discuss the updated position paper reflecting proposed revisions to the Cooperative Code.

Gather feedback, recommendations, and insights from the broader cooperative sector.

Build a unified stand and consensus that will guide the sectorโs advocacy and engagement with legislators.
