A Chamber of Cooperatives operates as a non-profit organization and works to serve its members through collaboration, advocacy, education, and networking opportunities.
- Established in July 24, 2023 in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis oriental, PH, 9000
- Composed of (14) Board of Trustees representing different cooperative enterprises nationwide.
- Collaborative effort by the CLIMBS Board of Directors and Top Management team based on the need of the movement.
The Co-op Chamber which was undersigned by its members last July 24, 2023 and officially registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission under Sec. Registration number 202307010953-3002.
Overall, the purpose of a Chamber of Cooperatives is to help create a supportive environment for cooperative enterprises to thrive, and to help the members of those cooperatives achieve their business goals and contribute to the economic and social well-being of their communities.
The Coop Chamber represents a group of (14) visionary leaders from different cooperative movements nationwide dedicated to supporting the growth of purpose-driven organizations and promoting collaboration, advocacy, education, and networking opportunities.
The chamber’s board of trustees encompasses a diverse set of knowledge, enthusiasm, and commitment to providing a platform and a voice for both small and big enterprises with the goal of building a better future by establishing an organization which will serve as a beacon of hope, peace, and social progress.
