Coop Chamber Year-End Report 2025

Fellow Cooperators,

The Cooperative movement continues to create democratic spaces and empower leaders who are dedicated to advancing people-oriented, environmentally friendly, and sustainable cooperative enterprises.

Throughout the year, we have faced challenges that have highlighted the gaps within the sector and provided us with opportunities to identify solutions for the benefit of our cooperatives, their members, and society as a whole.

The Philippine Chamber of Cooperatives, Inc. (Coop Chamber) believes that cooperativism is the ideal alternative in a rapidly changing world where economic, social, and cultural advancements require a resilient framework and programs that relies on the strength and participation of its members and communities.

In the second half of this year, the Coop Chamber aimed to be the unifying voice of the cooperative movement. To achieve this, we partnered with the National Anti-Poverty Commission and the Cooperative Sectoral Council and various national government agencies, such as the Cooperative Development Authority. We also collaborated with legislators including Cong. Emon Espares of Coop Natcco Party List, Cong Nikki Briones of AGAP Party List, from the Lower House. Additionally, we worked closely with  Senator Migz Zubiri, Senator Lito lapid, Senator Imee R. Marcos, Senator Risa Hontiveros, Senator Bam Aquino, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, Senator Bong Go, all of whom continue to support our executive and legislative agenda. Our goal is to pursue a society where growth is inclusive and promotes social justice.

This year, we must continue to intensify our efforts towards transformative governance at both the national and local levels. Cooperatives must stand against corruption and ensure that those in power remain transparent and accountable. Guided by our cooperative principles and values, we distinguish ourselves from other organizations through our commitment to building a brighter future for the Philippines and creating a better world.

Wishing you a productive and progressive 2026.
