Big Thanks to PUP Interns for Supporting the Coop Chamber

The Cooperative Chamber extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Manila and to the five outstanding student interns who contributed their time, skills, and passion in supporting the organization’s operations over the past three months.

As the first-ever batch of student interns of the Coop Chamber, Marjorie Enriquez, Nicole Ashley Fortes, Rustnice Fathma Villegas, Sophia Anne Binez, and Stephanie Nocum have set a high bar of commitment and professionalism.

Throughout their internship, the students satisfactorily accomplished key responsibilities, including:

  • Coordinating with member primary cooperatives and partner stakeholders,
  • Managing databases and providing technical support to improve operational processes, and
  • Delivering essential administrative assistance during activities, events, and engagements of the Coop Chamber.

All five interns are second-year students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cooperative Management, and each devoted up to 300 hours of immersive learning while contributing meaningfully to the Chamber’s day-to-day work.

The internship program was made possible through a Memorandum of Agreement between the Coop Chamber and PUP Manila, reflecting a shared commitment to cultivate future leaders in the cooperative sector.

The Coop Chamber hopes that this pioneering experience will inspire more passionate and service-driven students to join the cooperative movement and take part in promoting the welfare and development of cooperatives across the country.

To the PUP interns—Marjorie, Nicole Ashley, Rustnice, Sophia Anne, and Stephanie—thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and invaluable support. Your contributions have left a lasting impact, and we look forward to seeing your bright futures unfold in the cooperative community and beyond.
